When is the conference?

What time does the conference start?
Registration starts at 7:30am. The main session begins at 8:30am.
Where is the conference?
Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building, 700 Level
How much does the conference cost and what are the deadlines?*

Where do I check-in for my name tag?
At the registration desk on the 700 level – at the bottom of the escalator.
Who attends?
Individuals who work in the following capacities: Actuarial, Underwriting, Administration, Marketing, Claims and Treaties, as well as, from all levels of the organization from clerical personnel to the CEO.
Is there coat check?
Yes, complimentary coat check is provided at the conference on the 600 level until 7:00pm sharp. Coats must be picked up immediately after the conference to avoid them being moved to security.
When does coat check close?
Coat check closes at 7:00pm.
What is the dress code?
There is no formal dress code but we encourage you to dress professionally.
Is there a bag drop off?
No. You can leave your bag with your coat in coat check, but it is up to your discretion. The CRC is not liable for any lost or stolen bags.
Is there a preferred accommodation I can book?
Accommodation is at each attendee’s discretion and policy. There are several hotels and accommodations near the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. We recommend you Google options available in the area and verify your internal policies.
Where can I find parking near the conference?

Can I get reimbursed by CRC for parking and/or travel costs?
No, the CRC does not reimburse any expenses relating to the conference.
Will there be phone charging stations available?
The CRC will not have any phone charging stations available at the MTCC. We recommend you bring your own portable charger if you anticipate needing to charge your phone or device during the day. There are many plugs available throughout the centre.
Who do I contact regarding lost and found?
You can visit the registration desk on-site to ask if anything was returned during the conference. You can also contact the MTCC Guest Services as they handle lost and found articles for the venue. For the MTCC, please call (416) 585-8360 or go to the Guest Services Desk in the North and South Buildings.
Is there WIFI available at the MTCC?
There is no private WIFI available at the MTCC. There is limited public access in the hallway.
What should I bring with me?
Bring your confirmation email on your phone, a water bottle if you’d like to use the MTCC water fountains and your phone charger.
Will photos be taken at the conference?
Yes, photos will be taken at the conference throughout the day and in the breakout sessions. The photos will be used for CRC marketing purposes only. By attending the conference, you acknowledge and consent to being photographed and understand the photos may be used in future communications.
REGISTRATION
When does registration close?
Registration will close on March 16, 2026 or once capacity is reached.
How do I register for the conference? (Step by step)
Please note the breakout session selection is on the final page of registration after the payment.
Can I register at the event?
No, all registrations must be submitted in advance by the deadline of March 16, 2026.
Where can I find the attendee list?
There is no public attendee list for the CRC. The list of those who registered for the conference will be available exclusively through the event app. No external list will be shared.
Why is a One Time Passcode required to register?
This is an additional step that was added by the event platform for security reasons and is required for all existing accounts to register for the conference. It is not possible to by-pass this if you are using the same email address as a previous registration. New accounts will be able to proceed with registration as normal.
I registered for last year’s conference and no one-time code was requested during the registration.
If you were not asked a one-time code during registration and you’ve attended one of our conferences in the past, this is likely due to a different email used during the registration.
I am being asked for a one-time code but I am not getting an email.
If you are not receiving the one-time code, try adding the @pheedloop.com domain to your safe sender list and try again. If you still do not receive the one-time code, try a different email or contact us directly for assistance.
What is included in the cost of my registration?
Your registration provides you access to all Guest Speaker sessions, three breakout sessions of your choice, a continental breakfast, lunch, networking opportunities and a closing cocktail reception.
Are there group discounts available if we have more than one person who wants to register?
No, there are no group discounts.
Can I register multiple attendees as a group registration through the online registration form?
No. The online registration form is for individual registrations only. Contact us if a group registration is required. Please see the group registration policy which requires a minimum number of people to be registered and a combined payment.
How do I register multiple attendees as a group registration?
Group registrations will be accepted for groups of 5 or more attendees. Please reach out to us to request the group registration form. The group registration payment must be made in one single transaction. Requests for multiple payment requests will not be accepted. For individual payments, we encourage you to register your group individually through the registration form. See Group Registration Guidelines below.
Group Registration Guidelines
After completing the registration, will I receive an email confirmation?
Yes, an email confirmation with your invoice will be sent automatically once your registration is processed. Please check your email spam folder. The confirmation email and invoice will be sent to the email provided during registration. Contact us at crc@cmgmarketing.com if you need us to send you a copy.
How can I get an invoice for the event registration?
An invoice will be sent to you automatically after checkout. You can also email us at crc@cmgmarketing.com if you need us to send you a copy.
How do I update the name on my registration and name tag?
Please contact us at crc@cmgmarketing.com as soon as possible if an update is required. The final date to request an update to your name tag or registration details is March 20, 2026.
Where do I pick up my name tag?
Your name tag will be available at the registration desk on the conference day.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes, our cancellation policy states the registrations are non-refundable and can only be transferred. We accept registration transfers until March 5, 2026 at 5:00pm EST. We cannot accommodate registration transfers after this date or on-site as our totals would’ve already been confirmed with the MTCC. Please reach out to us at crc@cmgmarketing.com for the registration transfer process.
Is the event in-person only or is there a virtual component?
The CRC is an in-person event only and there is no virtual component for 2026.
Do I need to bring a ticket or print my confirmation email to check-in?
No, we can locate you by your name and company name at the registration desk. The name tags will also be in alphabetical order by last name.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Do you have a Cancellation Policy?
All 2026 Canadian Reinsurance Conference registrations are non-refundable, however substitutions of a business colleague/co-worker will be accepted and encouraged until the deadline of March 5, 2026 at 5:00pm EST. The original registrant must submit the replacement's name and contact information in writing to crc@cmgmarketing.com. No registration transfers can be accepted after this date.
LUNCH, BREAKS AND RECEPTION
Is food included with my registration?
Continental breakfast, lunch and a closing reception will be offered throughout the day. The Cocktail Reception includes two drink tickets and light snacks. The lunch and reception are optional and you are asked to confirm you attendance in advance as part of your registration.
Is there assigned seating during lunch?
No, there is no assigned seating during lunch giving you the opportunity to sit and network with other attendees.
SCHEDULE/BREAKOUT SESSIONS

How do I change my breakout sessions?
Contact us at crc@cmgmarketing.com to request an update to your breakout sessions. Please note the sessions have a capacity limit, and they will be filled on a first come first serve basis. We cannot guarantee we can update your schedule. The deadline to provide us with any changes is March 20, 2025.
Can I get access to the CRC presentations after the event?
All presentations are internal and exclusive on the conference date, to those who attend the in-person event. Speakers will have the option to publish their presentation through the event app.
Do I need to sign up for breakout sessions in advance?
We ask that you confirm your three breakout sessions in advance. There is a room capacity and registration for each specific session will close once the capacity is reached. By selecting your sessions during registration, we can guarantee there will be a saved spot for you.
Is coffee included during the conference?
Plenty of coffee will be available in the morning during the continental breakfast, as well as during the networking breaks however coffee service will be stopped during the breakout sessions and after lunch while you walk to the main session.
